Aboard this open-air vessel, they will be taken on a journey through the gorgeous Daintree Rainforest to spot some of its local inhabitants and see the true beauty that Tropical North Queensland is renowned for.
The Barron River is home to a range of native Australian animals including freshwater crocodiles, turtles, snakes, water dragons and fish as well as the hundreds of tropical bird species that fly around the region.
A great outing on the water for all ages to enjoy, Kuranda Riverboats' scenic cruise along the Barron River will provide them with some amazing and memorable photo opportunities all while teaching them about the region, it's environment and the animals that have made it home.
The cruise runs for 45-minutes from the designated departure point below the Kuranda Skyrail and Railway Stations. There are several departure times throughout the day aligned with the train times in the afternoon. They will be able to choose from the 10:45am, 11:45am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm or 2:30pm cruise with the final cruise returning at 3:15pm.

Time

- The 2.30pm cruise returns for the 3.30pm train
Location
- Conveniently situated, only a few minutes walk below the Kuranda Railway and Skyrail Stations on the Esplanade of the Barron River. Access to our departure jetty is over the railway footbridge and down the stairs
